The Productive Families
Exhibition received (Sanati 2016), organized by Asharqia Chamber in the Dhahran Expo (Dhahran
International Exhibitions) the evening of Tuesday, December 13, 2016, welcomed
visitors from the people of the region who came to see the achievements of the
productive families and their new creations in the world of business from home.
The exhibition which continues until Saturday, December 17 and includes more
than 250 productive families and craftsman, gathering many talents and crafts
that stunned the visitors reflecting the aspirations and the challenges faced
by families to achieve their goals and ambitions, it also explains how to
convert a hobby and a talent to an industry adding value to the business
sector.
Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel toured between the corners
of the exhibition reviewing the progress of work and the most important ideas
presented, in addition to new and distinctive observations that could be
included in new versions of the exhibition.
Al Wabel: An appreciation award for the best corner and the best section of
associations and development centers
Al Wabel said that Asharqia Chamber is interested out of its social responsibility to provide
a distinctive standard through the
participation of productive families, to complete the support ring offered by
the Chamber to them, pointing to an award offered for the best corner of the
productive families and also the best section of associations and development
centers participating in the exhibition, to encourage the vital roles offered
for productive families.
Al Wabel urged to visit the exhibition that includes many corners, including
craftsmen and another for clothing, sewing and another for food of all kinds, perfumes,
incense, decoration, and associations and development centers, presenting their
roles in supporting the productive families.
The exhibition also includes a special corner for children aged 3-10 years
contains many favorite shows and attractions for children, such as: screen
games and story corner,coloring, henna, in addition to the immediate photo
shooting.
The exhibition includes a space for the small trader that displays creations
and talents of our children, who have a commercial sense.
A special ladies awareness lecture titled (the role of the community in
supporting productive families)
The exhibition opens its doors on Thursday, December 15th from 4 pm to 10 pm,
and takes place tomorrow, Friday, December 16 a special ladies awareness
lecture titled (the role of the community in supporting productive families)
from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, in the auditorium in the exhibition.
Also about 14 Association and the Center for Community Development, participated
in the exhibition, providing support for those families, participating to
explain the mechanics of support and how to get it to start the project from
home and to achieve the goals of the exhibition, which stresses the development
of the works of the productive families to become present in the labor market
trade.
Art and design presented by the artistic ladies of special needs
In one of the corners we met the artist with special needs Haila Al Muhaisin
that came from an artistic family, specializes in fine art, challenged her disability
to show what she possesses of talents and potentials and draw them on her
paintings by her foot, as she was born without arms.
Haila has got this talent since birth, and began after the encouragement
by her family in her childhood drawing the first lines of her paintings during
childhood supported by her family, and
the support of her mother who gave her some of the skills that Haila mastered after
training.
Haila did not stop then but improved in her talent after engaging in a number
of training courses in this field, one of which was with Fine artist Shuaa Al Dossari
for an entire year, including the participating in local exhibitions that
attracted the public in different exhibitions in the Kingdom and in the Gulf.
In the beginning Haila depended on the marketing for her talent through
electronic networking sites stressing that they are very required at the moment
and you just need to follow certain methods to address the targeted audience to
send the message.
In another corner talked Um Saeed, that participated to show her products in
the coffee and accessories industry, from her beginnings in home as a result of
some special circumstances, and succeeded in her work and moved to the local
market, but in the midst of business she faced some of the challenges that
prevented her from continuing to work.
Um Saeed did not stop at the first difficulties that appeared in her way but insisted
with her self confidence and started again from home and was able to name the
industry and to offer her business in exhibitions in the Kingdom until her products
become required.
Designer Fatima Ali Hijab (Um Basim) an older lady and infected with cancer, and
despite of that she participates in any exhibition displaying designs of customized
visits and trips bags of local heritage,
she begins her design and then implementation, and all are within The workshop inside
her house.
She began sewing since she was in elementary school, specifically the fourth
grade of primary and continued to improve her skills in this field, but she did not
need this skill, until after facing family troubles where she was blessed with
unique living style due to the work of her husband and children in a trade,
after being robbed forced to work in design and sewing until their trade grew
and became required with the support of Jood Association from which she found the
support in various fields, including training and business development and the
financial support, their relationship extended to 13 years.
Although whoever may watch those bags would think at first glance that they have been produced by a huge company or a
factory known for being one of the attributes of high quality, but Um Basim stresses
that all of them are produced from home.
For her part, Lulua Al Dafffa talked from
Jana center to support women projects of Productive Families, which provides
support for projects starting from 4200 trials up to 250,000 riyals, in addition to the project of
development and marketing ideas, whether the project was a mere idea or
existing project, whether commercial, industrial or service.
She
said that the center cares so much that for the project to be distinctive and not
repeated in its idea, and equivalent to the support required. Some ideas are
simple and practical require high budget, and here comes the Centre role in
educating the beneficiary in the way of capital request with the amount of the
project.
The
section of the social responsibility center in the Chamber welcomes its visitors
The
Social Responsibility Center in Asharqia
Chamber through co working team in the exhibition welcomes the visitors with
the most important informations and programs that provide a culture of social
responsibility.
The
center aims to work to urge and encourage participants of the Chamber to estalish centers of social responsibility in
their organizations, and the spred of awareness of social responsibility among
the economic institutions of society in the eastern region, in addition to
providing consulting services in the field of social responsibility to participants
of the Chamber .
The
center considers of its duties plans and
strategies to embrace the social responsibility of the business sector in the
region, and working to communicate with the social agenciesin the region and
the Kingdom for the implementation of mutual
projects funded by the business sector, in addition to holding periodic
meetings with officials of the social responsibility centers and community
centers with the business sector and civil society institutions in
the region to exchange experiences and transfer expertise to acquire new skills
in this field.
